Thank you. ********** 1890 'Exercises Methodiques de Travaux Manuels' by Jean Boogaerts, which was published in Belgium and France in 1890, contains a methods of dividing an edge into fifths. It is not clear whether this method uses folding or whether the necessary marks are made using a pen. ********** 1913 A way of dividing a square into a 5x5 grid is given in 'Trabajo Manual' by C Champy Alvear, which was published by Cabaut y Cia in Buenos Aires in 1913. ********** The same method appears: 1939 In 'Trabajo Manual Educativo' by Araminta V Aramburu, which was published by F Crespillo in Buenos Aires in 1939. ********* 1940 In 'El Plegado y Cartonaje en la Escuela Primaria' by Antonio M Luchia and Corina Luciani de Luchia, which was published by Editorial Kapelusz in Buenos Aires in 1940 *********** |
