1893

Volume 1 for January to June 1893 contained a picture taken from issue 762 of La Nature for 7th January 1888. The original caption was 'Un curieux tourniquet'.

Volume 1 for January to June 1893 also contained a picture of 'a frog made of paper by a Japanese schoolboy' (ie the Inflatable Frog) taken from issue 852 of 'La Nature' for 28th September 1889. It was originally captioned 'Grenouille en papier executee par des ecoliers Japonais'. Note that the original 'Japanese schoolchildren' has become 'a Japanese schoolboy' here.

Volume 2 for July to December 1893 contained an image of the Afghan Bands taken from issue 709 of 'La Nature' for 1st January 1887. The original caption was 'Les anneaux de papier'.

1895

The issue for November 1895 contained several photos of Mr Ellis Stanyon demonstrating Troublewit. These photographs appear to have been published here for the first time. Three of them subsequently appear in 'Conjuring for Amateurs' by Ellis Stanyon,which was published in London in 1897.
