Sunny Origami: Angel Book by Keinichi Fukuda, 1966

'Sunny Origami: Angel Book' by Keinichi Fukuda was published by Jomo Kagaku Kogyosha in Japan in 1966.

In his 'Author's Greeting' the author says:

The designs pictured on the cover are not the same as those explained inside. Although this volume is called the 'Angel Book', the angel only appears on the cover.

This is the first in a series of 10 Sunny Origami books, all by the same author and publisher. In his article 'Sunny Origami a.k.a. Circular Origami or Round Origami', which can be accessed here, David Lister gives the others as:

Bow-wow Book 1968.

Swan Book 1968.

The Life of Buddha 1968.

The Life of Shinran Shonin 1969.

The Life of Jesus Christ 1969.

Lion Book 1970

Frog Book 1972.

Cat Book 1972.

Little Red Riding Hood 1972.

All these books seem to be of a similar format and to explain ways of making designs by combining simple pictorial elements, made from folded, and often cut, paper circles of varying sizes, into multipiece collages..

These books do not use standard origami diagrams, but, instead, contain an actual folded exemplar of each design together with a simple explanation of how each of the pieces that make up the design is to be made. The exemplars are:

Hen and Chick
