This
page is being used to collect information about the
history of the two-part modular paperfolding design I
call The Six-Armed Rotor. Please contact me if you know
any of this information is incorrect or if you have any
other information that should be added. Thank you. This design is derived from The Hexagonal Rosette ********** 1894 As far as I know this design first appears in an article by J Marteau in Manuel General de L'Instruction Primaire of 17th November 1894. ********** The design also appears: 1897 As 'Moulin à 6 branches' in 'Pliage et Decoupage du Papier' by C Savineau, which was published by Librairie Hatchette et Cie in Paris in 1897.
********** 1900 As 'Molina de seis aspas' in an article in El Monitor 331 of 30th September 1900 (which is a translation of several chapters of Savineau).
********** 1913 As 'Molinete de seis puntas' in 'Trabajo Manual' by C Champy Alvear, which was published by Cabaut y Cia in Buenos Aires in 1913.
