As far as I know this design fitrst appears as 'Pyramide Quadrangulaire' in an article by J Marteau in 'Manuel General de L'Instruction Primaire' of 26th January 1895.

As 'Pointe de clocher' in 'Pliage et Decoupage du Papier' by C Savineau, which was published by Librairie Hatchette et Cie in Paris in 1897.
