There is a separate page for The Cut Distorted Half-Cube Box ********** 1940 As far as I know diagrams for this design first appear as 'Caja Japonesa' in 'El Plegado y Cartonaje en la Escuela Primaria' by Antonio M Luchia and Corina Luciani de Luchia, which was published by Editorial Kapelusz in Buenos Aires in 1940. Part of the text says, roughly 'You can make a lid in the same way by using a square tow millimetres larger on each side. To fit it, overlap the openings and rotate an eighth of a turn.'
