page attempts to record what is known about the origin
and history of the origami design known as in Japanese as
the the Kunukinohara tsutsumi and which I call The Cut
Mouse. Please contact me if you know any of this

information that should be added. Thank you. This design first occurs in the books of Isao Honda and is probably his original design. ********** 1932 This design is pictured on the cover of 'Origami (Part 2)' by Isao Honda, which was published in 1932.
