as Eight Triangles, which is a derivative of the Eight

information that should be added. Thank you. ********** 1894 As far as I know this design first appears in an article by J Marteau in Manuel General de L'Instruction Primaire of July 1894. It is a variation of Eight Squares made by using a third square of paper to conceal part of the eight squares. ********** The design also appears: 1897 In 'Pliage et Decoupage du Papier' by C Savineau, which was published by Librairie Hatchette et Cie in Paris in 1897. ********** 1900 In an article in El Monitor 331 of 30th September 1900 (which is a translation of several chapters of Savineau). ********** |
