A quotation from an article mentioning Troublewit in 'The Sporting Life' of November 1895 appears in an advertisement in 'Conjuring for Amateurs' by Ellis Stanyon, which was published in London in 1897. It shows that at this date Ellis Stanyon was not only performing his paper folding act but also making and selling pre-folded Troublewit sheets.
