Article in El Clamor 18th August 1848

This article tells a story about 'una pajara de papel', also called just 'pajaritas' or 'pajaritas de papel', which is in some ways the same as, but in other ways different to, the story that appeared in 'El tio y el sobrino' of 11th August 1848.

The most significant passages read, roughly translated:

'if there is no work you can amuse yourself by making paper birds'

and

'He spins around himself, casts a Nero-like glance at the inconsolable dove (paloma), and holding it by its tender wings, no doubt so they would not break, takes it as a confiscated item...'.

It seems likely that the paper bird(s) of the story are intended to be of the Cocotte / Pajarita design but the second passage suggests otherwise, since Cocotte / Pajaritas do not have wings.
