'Rupert' was published by The Daily Express in 1961. It contains a frontispiece explaining 'The Conjuror's Paper Chain' (The Afghan Bands).

It also contains a story 'Rupert and the Hearth Rug' and a section tited 'How to Make Rupert's Hearth Rug' of which I have not managed to locate details. This 'hearth rug' may, or may not, be a paperfolding design.
