| Pop-Up Origami: Kitty Book by Tatsuo Miyawaki, 1960 | |||||||
'Pop-Up Origami: Kitty Book' by Tatsuo Miyawaki was published by Biken-Sha in Japan in 1960 and distributed by Japan Publication Trading Company. The work contains folded examples of the designs, which are glued onto folded pages, or sections of pages, by their feet or lower edges, so that they 'pop-up' into an upright position when the pages are opened. Many of the designs are heavily cut. My grateful thanks to the British Origami Society for letting me see a copy of this work. The Pop-Up pages themselves could not be scanned without causing damage so only the diagrams are included here. **********
