Pleasure with Paper by Aart van Breda, 1954

'Pleasure with Paper, by Aart van Breda was published by Faber and Faber Ltd in London in 1954. It is a translation by W E James of the author's 'Plezier met Papier' which was originally published by Uitgeverij van Breda in Amsterdam in 1950.

The majority of designs in the work are either simple fold and cut designs or more complex designs made by the Cardboard Modelling technique. I have only included a design in the Analysis below if it already has a specific page of its own elsewhere on this site.

This translation was originally published in 1954. This page is based on a version published by Puffin Books in 1979, a full copy of which can be accessed online here.
