According to Gershon Legman's 'Bibliography of Paperfolding', 'Origami to kirinuki tehon' by Misaki Izumo was published by Issei-sha in Tokyo in 1947. I have not managed to verify this date. The earliest edition I can find evidence of is from 1954. However the 1947 date may be correct.
