Origami Polyhedra by Bennett Arnstein, 1968

'Origami Polyhedra' by Bennett Arnstein was self-published through the vanity publisher Exposition Press in New York in 1968. In the Introduction the author describes the work as explaining 'how to make three-dimensional geometric models by sticking together folded pieces of paper with adhesive cellophane tape'. More information about the methods used can be found in the author's 'Introduction' which is reproduced in full below. Examples of the type of structures this method can produce can be found on the cover.

My thanks to the British Origami Society for allowing me to see a copy of this work.
