Origami: Japanese Paper Folding: Sakura Book by Isao Honda, 1959

'Origami: Japanese Paper Folding - Sakura Book' by Isao Honda was published in English by The Asahi Origami Club in 1959 and distributed by Japan Publications Trading Company Ltd. Isao Honda is named as the Editor but it is clear from the content and the diagramming style that he was in fact the author of the work. The style and presentation of the work is exactly the same as the two 'Origami: Japanese Paper Folding' books published by Toto Shuppan Co Ltd under the auspices of the Toto Origami Club, but all reference to these names has disappeared. The work contains several designs which had appeared in the previous books.

Although the cover presents the work as 'Sakura book' there are no diagrams for a design of that name inside, nor indeed any other reference to a design for a sakura blossom.

The author does not state whether the designs are traditional, his own original work, or the original work of some other designer.

There are diagrams for 18 designs, and photos of another 6 some of which had previously appeared in previous books in the same series.

6 folded models were glued onto the pages.

The introduction to the work states:

There is a low-res copy of the complete work at the foot of this page.
