The Cut Bat

This page is being used to collect information about the history of the origami design I call the Cut Bat. Please contact me if you know any of this information is incorrect or if you have any other information that should be added. Thank you.

This design first occurs in the books of Isao Honda and is possibly his original design.

There are two versions of this design. The simpler version is folded from a square and the more complex version from a 60/120 degree rhombus. The ears in both versiosn are created using cuts.
