There is a design for a 'Cloak' (made by leaving one end of the Collapsible Box unfolded) attributed to Akira Yoshizawa in 'Origami Shuko' by Isao Honda, which was published in 1944.

As 'Cloak' in 'Origami Nippon' by Isao Honda, which is a paperback book published by Honda Origami Studio in Tokyo in 1970. No attribution of authorship is given.
