and history of the origami design I call The Chick.

This design first occurs in the books of Isao Honda and is quite possibly his original design. ********** 1965 As far as I know this design first appears as 'Baby Chick' in 'The World of Origami' by Isao Honda, which was published by Japan Publications Trading Company in the USA in 1965.
********** The same design appears: 1967 As 'Baby Chick' in 'Origami Festival' by Isao Honda, which was published by Japan Publications Inc in Tokyo in 1967.
