The Inkwell - 1873 onwards

A design, called 'A Letter Rack' appears in 'Course of Paperfolding' by Eleonore Heerwart, which was published by Charles and Dible in London and Glasgow in 1895, in a section of designs developed from Kohler's Groundform. I am not sure how the design can be interpreted in this way.

The Blotting Paper Holder - 1932 onwards

A design for a Paper Holder appears in Booklet 3 of 'Images a Plier', a series of 6 booklets published by Librairie Larousse in Paris in 1932.
