The 5th Edition of 'Les Recreations Scientifiques' by Gaston Tissandier was published in Paris by G. Masson in 1888. It contains paperfolding material which had not appeared in the earlier editions but which had previously appeared in articles in 'La Nature'.

An almost full copy can be viewed here. For some reason the Frontispiece, the engraving showing 'Le tableau magique a trois faces', was not scanned along with the rest of the book.

The Avertissement states that 'our book has been translated into English, German, Italian, Spanish, Swedish, Danish and Russian.'
