Fluxus 1 by George Macunias

'Fluxus 1' was an artist's book (a book of pages each contributed by an individual artist) edited and published by George Macunias in 1964, and subsequently produced in a number of slightly differing versions until 1977. The contributors were mostly, if not entirely, artists associated with the Fluxus collective based in New York, of which George Macunias was the leading member. Each page was an envelope containing, or in some cases, being, the work. The book was bound together with detachable metal bolts and housed in a box to make mailing it easier.

A number of the pages featured items made from folded paper, including a traditional Boat with Sail folded by T Saito.
