This article, written by Anthony Sampson, was published in the 'Table Talk by Pendennis' column of 'The Observer' for Sunday 23rd August 1959. It references Lillian Oppenheimer's origami workshop in Manhattan, the 'Plane Geometry and Fancy Figures, exhibition at the Copoper Union and Martin Gardner's article in the Scientific American (which included diagrams for the Flapping Bird.) The article also refers to a jumping frog and 'a fish that opens its mouth'.
