This article explains how to make The Ship's Wheel (here called the mariner's wheel) and several increasingly complex versions similar to Paper Doilies, a Fold and Slit Trellis (to use as 'an ornament for the overmantle'), How to Climb Through a Playing Card (cut without first folding the paper in half) and The Afghan Bands, all out of newspaper.
