Trabajo Manual Educativo by Araminta V Aramburu, 1939

'Trabajo Manual Educativo' by Araminta V Aramburu was published by F Crespillo in Buenos Aires. The work is undated. However, a publication date of 1939 is given in the bibliography in 'Papirolas - Volume 3' by Vicente Solorzano Sagredo, which was published in Buenos Aires in 1940.

This page is based on a copy of the work gifted to Robert Harbin by Ligia Montoya and currently held in the library of the British Origami Society, who have kindly allowed me access to it.

The work is mentioned in Gershon Legman's 'Bibliography of Paperfolding':

**********

The work gives suggestions for educational manual work based (mainly) around paperfolding, ie paperfolding per se, paper sloyd and cardboard modelling. The syllabus is split into the various school years from primary to sixth grade (though I have not kept to this scheme in the Analysis). There is also a chapter containing suggestions for similar work at secondary school (which includes a few simple woodworking designs).

The Analysis does not include all the geometric exercises, cardboard modelling or paper sloyd style designs in the work.

A full low-res copy of the work is included at the foot of the page.
