Paper Folding for Schools by M Hopkins, 1902 | |||||||
According to the catalogue of the British Library: 'Paper Folding for Schools' by M Hopkins was published in London by Charles and Dible in1902. This first edition is said to have had 32 pages. A second edition was published by Charles and Dible in 1910. This edition is said to have had 58 pages and was enhanced by the addition of a section on the folding of circles by Lillian Elliott. A fifth, revised and enlarged, edition, said to have had 60 pages, was published by Charles and Son in 1929. I do not know what new material was added to this edition. ********** An undated copy of the work, which includes the additional section by Lilian Elliott, can be accessed online here. This edition has 58 pages. The publisher is Charles and Son Ltd. It is possible therefore that this is either the third or the fourth edition of the work, in which case the first 32 pages will correspond to the content of the first edition and the additional pages will be the material by Lilian Elliott which was added to the second edition. An analysis of the first 32 pages will be added here when time allows. An analysis of the other pages will be added to the page for the 1910 second edition as time allows. ********** |
