'Origami Zoo: Bird Book' by Isao Honda was published by Toto Shuppan Co. Ltd in 1961 and distributed by Japan Publications Trading Company. It is a large format book published Japanese-style in a cardboard sleeve. The early pages in the book are decorated with folded paper models, the later pages contain the diagrams. Ther details on this page are taken from a copy of the work kindly lent to me by the British Origami Society. Note that the title page states 'Origami designs by Isao Honda'. ********** ********** Analysis The diagrams start with some 'Simple Folding Drills' for: Yacht - The Yacht ********** Flying Pigeon - The Dove ********** Jet Airplane - The Carrier Pigeon ********** Sea Gull - The Simple Duck ********** At this point the work states 'We now come to the actual making of Origami birds.' Mandarin Duck - The Mandarin Duck ********** Swans 1 and 2 - The Simple Swan
