A new hardback edition of 'Origami: The Oriental Art of Paper Folding' by Harry C Helfman was published by Platt and Munk in New York in 1965. My thanks to the British Origami Society for allowing me to see a copy of this work.

The material about constructing mobiles was originally published in the 'Deluxe Origami Mobile Kit' in 1961 (and so was not in the original hardback version).

The designs on pages 2 to 20 (up to and including the Flapping Bird) appeared in the original paperback book.
