According to According to 'Origami koten ni miru origami' (Origami in the Classics) by Satoshi Takagi, a print showing Komoso appeared in a work called 'Nishikawa Hinagata'. Assuming that this is a title not a general description of the work this may be the same work as the 'Nishikawa Hinagata' held in the collection of the Boston Museum of Fine Arts (see here) which is said to date from 1722. Unfortunately, a full copy of this work is not available online.
