'L'Annee Psychologique: Onzieme Annee' was published by Alfred Binet in Paris in 1905. It contains an article written by Binet and Simon which describes various psychological tersts, one of which is to visualise the result of making two cuts in folded sheet of paper. The two cuts remove a triangle from a folded edge. When unfolded the triangles become two lozenges, one either side of a centre line.
