La Deuxieme Annee de Travail Manuel (Cours Superieur) by P Martin, 1895

'La Deuxieme Annee de Travail Manuel (Cours Superieur)' by P Martin was published by Armand Colin et ces Editeurs in Paris in 1895. It contains chapters on Pliage et Decoupage du papier and Cartonnage and, according to the Preface contains exercises 'adapted to the age and strength of children aged 11 to 13'.

This page is based on a copy of the second edition, published in 1902, which can be accessed online here. I believe, however, that the content of both editions was identical.

A full copy of the chapter on Pliage et Decoupage du papier is included at the foot of this page.

This design appears to be the module for the Two Part Star of David but presented as a design in its own right.

No 2 (cut)

Note that this is a compound design made from four equilateral triangles.

It is not entirely clear to me how this design is to be made.
