'Kirigami: The Creative Art of Paper Cutting' by Florence Temko was published as a kit containing an instructional booklet, paper and scissors by Platt and Munk in New York in 1962. The work contains both fold and slit / fold and cut designs but also some other non-paperfolding items such as tangrams.
