Jeux de pliages by Ferdinand Krch / Cuori / Coeur, 1933 | |||||||
'Jeux
de pliages' by Ferdinand Krch was published by Flammarion
in Paris in 1933. An Italian edition was issued, also in
1933, under the name 'Ferdinando Cuori', presumably
because this name sounds more Italian. All the later
French editions (1940, 1941, 07-1949, 06-1952, 1956,
1971, 1985 and 2004) were published under the name
'Ferdinand Coeur' (presumably for a similar reason). The contents of all the editions issued between 1933 and June 1952 were identical. (My thanks to Michel Grand for providing this information.) According to Wikipedia, Ferdinand Krch (1881 - 1973) was a Czech pedagogue and children's author. A full copy of the June 1952 French edition is included at the bottom of this page. ********** Analysis Fleche - The Paper Dart ********** Avion - The Paper Dart with an added front wing ********** Moulins a Vent - The Cut and Fold Windmill ********** Maisonette (Cut) - made using the paper modelling technique ********** Eventail Rond - The Circular Fan ********** Lampion - a Pleated Paper Lampshade ********** Chapeau de Gendarme - The Pyramidal Hat (made from a square) ********** Bateau - The Paper Boat (made from a square) ********** Bec (Cut) - The Paper Snapper (Cut) ********** Cochonnet - The Pig ********* Gobelet - The Paper Cup ********** Ciel-Enfer (Heaven-Hell) - The Salt Cellar ********** Cocotte ********** Mouche-Avion (Fly-Plane) ********** Boite - The Blintz Box ********** Soufflet - The Bellows ********** Diable - The Wild Man of Borneo ********** Hirondelle.
