Baroness Bertha von Marenholz-Bulow was born in 1810 and died in 1893. ********** Elise Van Calcar describes in her book 'Foebel's Methode' how, in 1858, she met Baroness Bertha von Marenholz-Bulow and became a convert to the Froebelian cause. These paragraphs contain a description of Baroness Bertha von Marenholz-Bulow and her bag of Froebelian 'toys' by an observant writer.
